ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

By registering for any Icebridge Hockey program, service, or event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms, conditions, and waiver of liability.

SERVICES OFFERED

Icebridge Hockey provides a variety of on-ice and off-ice hockey programs, including but not limited to training sessions, skill development, practices, events, tournaments, and games.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT POLICY

1. Registration Process
To confirm your participation in any Icebridge Hockey program or event, you must complete the full registration process. This includes submitting all required information and payment, as well as accepting these terms and conditions.

2. Payment Requirement
Full payment is required at the time of registration. This secures your spot in the program and allows us to properly organize staff, facilities, and resources.

3. Accepted Payment Methods
Icebridge Hockey accepts payment via:

Credit Card
Visa/Master Debit

4. Confirmation of Registration
Once payment has been received, you will receive a confirmation email containing your registration details and any additional program information.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1. Full Refund

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the program start date are eligible for a full refund.

2. Credit Toward Future Service

Cancellations made within 30 days of the program start date are not eligible for a refund but will receive a credit equal to the amount paid, which may be applied to a future Icebridge Hockey program.

3. No Refund Policy

Cancellations made within 7 days of the program start date are not eligible for a refund or credit.

4. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Important Notice

By completing registration, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with participation in Icebridge Hockey (hereinafter referred to as "IBH") programs, events, practices, and activities.

You understand that participation in ice hockey carries inherent risks, including collisions, physical contact, equipment-related injuries, and other unpredictable dangers. You voluntarily assume all such risks, including the potential for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being permitted to participate in IBH programs or events, I agree:

To waive any and all claims against Icebridge Hockey, its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, and volunteers (collectively, “the releasees”).
To release the releasees from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in any IBH activity, regardless of cause, including negligence or breach of duty.
To indemnify and hold harmless the releasees from any liability for damage or injury to a third party caused by my participation.
That this release is binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and assigns.

DESCRIPTION OF RISK

By participating in IBH programs, I acknowledge that I am aware of the potential risks, including but not limited to:

Muscle strain, sprains, or overexertion
Collisions with boards, nets, ice, or other participants
Being struck by sticks or pucks
Physical contact resulting in bruises, cuts, fractures, or spinal injuries
Variations in ice surface conditions
Travel-related risks to and from events
Exposure to communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19

I understand that injuries in hockey can be severe, that fatigue increases risk, and that despite safety measures, accidents may occur.

MEDIA RELEASE

I, the parent or guardian of the participant, grant Icebridge Hockey permission to photograph, record, or otherwise capture the participant’s likeness during programs or events.
These images and videos may be used for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes without the need for further approval or compensation.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Participants are encouraged to disclose any medical conditions or injuries that could affect their ability to safely participate in Icebridge Hockey programs or events.

CHANGES TO SERVICES

Icebridge Hockey reserves the right to modify schedules, locations, or programming in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older and am the parent or legal guardian of the registered participant.
I have read and understood this waiver and release of liability and acknowledge that by agreeing to these terms, I am waiving certain legal rights on behalf of myself and my child.
